I worked with a talented team of artists, producers, and directors on the short Disney film Remembering while I was working at Magnopus as an environment artist.
My role on the project included modeling, texturing, and set dressing the background shots of the cabin scenes and the campsite scene. I worked in Unreal Engine to closely match the director's art direction and story board layout. This included foliage modeling + painting, landscape painting, lighting passes, and integrating matte paintings as backgrounds to the environments within the editor.
Once the shots were completed, the scenes were projected onto a screen at Nant Studios, where the directors and actors were able to make real time decisions regarding the backdrop's layout and compositions. Remembering also incorporates a first-of-its kind interactive Augmented Reality application that enhances the user experience.
This was such a fun project to work on - thanks to all of my talented teammates listed in those credits.
